Following our September 11 worship gathering in Yaletown, Pacific Church will be meeting at Sunset Beach

near the downtown Vancouver aquatic centre for our fall kickoff Beach Party and Baptism.

 

The party will begin right after the Baptism. Please bring whatever food and drink you might enjoy as well as

any games, kayaks, lawn chairs, hopefully sunscreen and anything else you’d like for the afternoon.

 

If you’re a follower of Jesus and haven’t yet been baptized let me encourage you to follow Jesus in this important step.

We invite you and your child to join us for the third annual

Art in the Park summer program.

 

Art in the Park is a free kids/family program that

Pacific Church offers every summer with the help of a

Canada Summer Jobs student.

 

In 2011 Annie Carson Angioli will be leading family-oriented arts and crafts weekday mornings

from 10 am to 12 pm throughout the summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays in David Lam Park

(beside Elsie Roy School), and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in Emery Barnes Park

(corner of Richards & Davies St.).  

 

For the best experience, moderate adult involvement is encouraged; please, no large daycare 

groups without prior arrangement. Registration is recommended to ensure that we have

lots of supplies on hand, but not required. Art in the Park may occasionally be cancelled due

to heavy rain.

Please join us to celebrate another great summer of Art in the Park at Picnic in the Park, 1pm, Sunday, August 21st!

 

We'll have food and family-friendly activities (balloon animals! facepainting!), and at 4pm the Roundhouse Community

Centre will be starting their picnic and outdoor movie, so come out to celebrate with us first, and then stay to play

for the rest of the day!

 

Starting at 11am in Elsie Roy School, we're also featuring the recent animated film 'Tangled' in our Pacific at the Movies:

Film-Faith-Life series (topic: 'Dreams'), which you are most welcome to come and check out as well - and if you do,

please stick around for the picnic and make a day of it! (Note: we only show clips of the movie morning-of,

so make sure and watch the whole thing ahead of time!)

Pacific Church Vancouver's second annual AGM/Town Hall will be held on June 12 at 7pm at the Granville Island Hub.

 

Celebration: We begin at 7pm with dessert and celebrating God's goodness over the past year.
